Comments from some of our seminar participants

I loved The Conquering Clutter class. Following Linda’s straightforward tips and advice I cleaned closets, attacked my ever growing paper pile and got rid of “valuables” that I no longer found to be a treasure. I even made some money selling my unwanted belongings. Once you start, it’s hard to stop and having to report my progress at the next class period is what held me accountable. Highly recommend.

Linda Goldman’s “Getting Organized” morning program at the Winnetka Woman’s Club was a resounding hit. Linda is a warm and engaging speaker — and not all theory, either. She has many practical, simple strategies and tips to avoid clutter, leading you to a harmonious home! We learned how to gauge our actual needs, and avoid some common traps of having our posssessions possess us. Nearly everyone in the audience went home and tried something Linda suggested — and the reports on reslults were so positive.Mary Sutherland

Linda, in clearing old emails I ran across your notes from Organizing Your Home to Show And Sell. Just thought I’d let you know that we sold our house in 3 weeks (with all the snow and no Broker’s Open House). Your class and input really helped. Sue Chait

I am the lone male who attended your “Organizing Your Paper” seminar. I enjoyed the class and, thanks to you, now have an outline for solving my paper problem. Like all cures, it will only work if I follow it and apply the principles you outlined for us. Again, thank you very much and I felt the class was really worthwhile.Chuck Rollings

On behalf of the Harper School PTO, thank you for speaking at our meeting last month. Organizing our children’s things (or even our own) is a challenging task for most of us. You offered useful guidelines and humorously helped us realize how we might even be reluctant to clean and purge. I myself came away with several specific ideas and others commented that they were glad they attended your presentation. Incidentally, I saw the positive article in the North Shore magazine. We were fortunate to have you speak.Deanne Roggekamp

Linda, many thanks for joining Southern Alliance’s February Luncheon. The feedback that I received was that your presentation was a big hit. Your talk was excellent and was well received by all. Also, your handout was very informative and I think that everyone took home a lot of information they will be able to use. In addition, you could not have been nicer – you were very easy going and pleasant to work with.Again, thanks much

You were a dynamic speaker who made a dry subject (organizing) into something fun and interesting. So many of the members came up to me after the program and told me how much they enjoyed it. I will definitely be recommending you to the other woman’s groups.Leena Ramachandra

I was at a low point when I found your class at New Trier Extension (about two years ago). It really helped me a lot, so thank you! The expertise you shared that day, as well as the tips in your newsletter have helped to get me on a much better track than where I had been. I have recommended the class to several friends since then. Keep up the good work.M.S.

Thanks for the informative and wonderful class. I am at home and looking forward to tackling my paper, which really makes me happy! And, depending how I get along, may be calling you in for additional consulting. Thanks again, you were extremely helpful and I learned a lot in a short amount of time!M.K.

I can’t tell you how many people have thanked me for having you present to us today. People really got a lot of tips and are eager to go home and use them. Thank you for giving all of us the boost we need to start applying your ideas to our everyday life. It was a wonderful start to our Lunch and Learn sessions.Lynne Caplan
